After achieving a degree in History, my intent was to teach … but life offered other paths. I chose the corporate world and that path led to a 28 year consulting career. That work enabled me to travel, to observe and to develop my own tastes … but always remembering my love of jewelry. I collected numerous pieces of jewelry, primarily in silver, ranging in styles from all over the world.

My business career ended over ten years ago. At that time I decided to expand my collecting to creating and making jewelry. And so, I have since focused on learning the arts of gem setting and metal smithing both domestically and abroad. A large part was spent at a premier jewelry arts studio in New York City, and further studies and workshops in the U.S., Italy and Brazil.
